InteroperableInteroperable (interoperability) means that different devices, software, or systems can communicate with each other and exchange data. For example, a smartphone and a computer can be interoperable if they can both use the same type of file format. This means that you can easily transfer files from your phone to your computer, or vice versa. Interoperability is important because it makes it easier to use different technologies together. For example, if you have a smart home with a variety of different devices, such as a thermostat, a doorbell, and a security system, you want to be able to control them all from a single app. If the devices are interoperable, you can do this. | |
